Blood & Sawdust
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Blood & Sawdust is a game where you must collect blood and sawdust to keep your monster companion alive and fed. If you forget to feed it, it will get angry and attack you. Blood can be collected from killing aliens that come out of the sky. Sawdust can be found as a drop from sawing crates. Your weapon is a saw that can both kill aliens and break crates. However, you cannot kill your companion and must sate and slake its desires lest it turn on you.

A, D, Space, LMB, E
This is my first game jam and I hope you enjoy what I have managed to create.

Install instructions
Windows: Simply unzip the file to a folder and run the .exe
Mac: unzip and double click the application to run. It will have the blood and sawdust icon which looks like this:
If you get an error saying "untrusted application", search "Security" in Finder, open Security and Privacy, click the "General" and under "Allow apps downloaded from" there should be an option to allow Blood & Sawdust to run.
